1. START YOUR PRAYER TIME BY PRAYING FOR YOURSELF
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to pray according to God's will. Confess and renounce any known sin in your life at this time. Surrender yourself to God, ask him to fill you with his Holy Spirit and to use your prayers and your life to extend his kingdom rule around you... and don't forget to thank him as he does. (Psalm 139:23-24, Matthew 6:9-10, Romans 8:26, 1 John 1:9, Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 5:18)
2. PRAY FOR FAMILIES
Pray that Jesus will heal, restore, and strengthen every marriage and family. Ask God to protect Christian marriages in your family, church and community. Pray that husbands will love their wives like Christ loves the church and that wives will respect and submit to their husbands as to the Lord. Pray that the hearts of parents will be turned toward their children to love them and raise them in a God-honoring way. Pray that children will respect and obey their parents. (Genesis 2:24; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Joshua 24:15; Psalm 127:3-5; Malachi 4:6; Ephesians 5:22-33; Ephesians 6:1-4)
3. PRAY FOR UNITY OF THE CHURCH
Pray that denominational, theological, and ethnic walls will come down so that pastors will love each other, pray together, and serve each other. Pray that the churches in our community will uphold the Lordship of Christ, the authority of scripture and the unity of the Spirit. (John 17:20-23; Psalm 133:1; Ephesians 4:3-6)
4. PRAY FOR UNBELIEVERS TO BE SAVED
Pray that people's hearts will be opened to repent of their sins and confess Jesus as Savior. Pray that every person in the world will be able to hear the Gospel in their native language. Pray for 5 people by name who are far from God. Ask God to reach out through you to share Jesus with them. (Matthew 9:37-38; 24:14; Romans 10:1; 2 Peter 3:9; Acts 26:18)
5. PRAY FOR A NATIONAL SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
Pray that God will revive his Church and awaken our nation to the greatness and supremacy of Jesus. Pray that God will pour out His Spirit on America, forgive our sins and heal our land. Pray that millions of Americans will be convicted by the Holy Spirit, repent of their sins, and turn to God with all their hearts. (Psalm 67; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Daniel 9:18-19; Psalm 85:6; Habakkuk 3:2; Acts 2:37-41)
6. PRAY FOR THE RECONCILIATION OF PEOPLE OF ALL WALKS
Pray that God will heal our county of hatred, prejudice, and racism and use the church to stand against conflict, violence, and prejudice. The church must lead the way in reconciliation by rejecting fear and modeling love and respect for every person regardless of the color of their skin or their ethnic background. (Leviticus 19:33-34; Romans 10:12-13, Galatians 3:28, Acts 10:28, Acts 10:34-35, John 7:24, 1 John 2:9, Ephesians 2:14-18; James 2:9, Revelation 7:9)
7. PRAY FOR LIFE TO BE VALUED AND PROTECTED THROUGH ALL STAGES FROM CONCEPTION TO NATURAL DEATH
Pray for God to break the culture of death in America and restore a culture of life. Pray for legalized abortion to come to an end. Pray for Christians to be compassionate and caring towards all who are personally involved or affected by the culture of death. (Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Proverbs 24:11; Deuteronomy 21:8-9)
8. PRAY FOR OUR SCHOOLS
Pray for the school districts of Bronson, Coldwater, Quincy and Union City. Pray for Christian teachers and administrators who serve there. Ask God to protect our children from destructive ideologies and physical harm. Pray that God would use Christians within our schools to be a witness for him so that more students, teachers and administrators will come to faith. Ask God to also bless all homeschooled students and the parents who teach them.

Pray that God will bless the local Christian businesses in their various pursuits. Pray that businesses would be places where employees and customers feel God's love and come to know Jesus. Pray that more local business leaders would come to faith and that God will prosper businesses in our community.

Pray for our president, the president's cabinet, Congress, the Supreme Court and our national government. Pray for state and local leaders.
